I was going to hire a friend to write this bio for me, because really, who wants to read a long winded description of how a girl who went to fashion school ended up with a degree in French and International Marketing from a Big Ten school where she ruled the newspaper? And how she had a job before she graduated and it was so terrible she quit on New Years Eve? Or how she temped at a luxury car manufacturer until the market crashed? (Although, the good news was that she had been freelancing as a designer for almost a year). Or, how she interviewed for a bunch of jobs that told her she was either too creative or had the wrong degree? 

Well, at the end of that story, she went back to school to get the right degree, but all the while she ran a little web design company to help pay the bills. The little web design company designs some pretty awesome sites, and she won some design awards right before finishing a certificate. Pretty awesome, eh?

She now works at the place she worked in college, but as one of their professional staff members. She manages a staff of 12 student designers who create print advertisements for a newspaper and online ads for a variety of multimedia sites. As part of this day job recently designed new websites for buzz magazine, the217.com and WPGU 107.1 FM as part of her 

Oh, wait, it seems that story was all about me :) And now, I can save the money and go buy a pair of designer shoes.
